Cancer is one of the most important causes of death in the world. Inheritance, environmental factors, type of nutrition and physical activity are influence factors in cancer formation. Physical activity and diet are one of the most important factors in the prevention of cancer. The protective effect of physical activity against cancer is possibly through controlling obesity, improving insulin sensitivity and reducing systemic inflammation. Various studies have shown that some cancers are associated with detraining and the risk of cancer was lower in people with regular physical activity. Therefore, physical activity, active lifestyle and proper nutrition play an effective role in the prevention of cancers. Various studies have also demonstrated that plants such as Taxus Baccata, Aloe Vera and other plants are one of the natural combinations of anticancer. In the world, medicinal herbs are used to prevent and treat various cancers including breast cancer, cervical cancer and prostate cancer. Research shows that endurance training reduces the density of macrophages and neutrophils within the tumor and some of the cytokines that affect in angiogenesis and reduces tumor volume.

He has been lecturing on Sports Physiology and on Sport Nutrition and has published 10 books and over 70 articles in this field. Dr. Barari is also interested in the field of exercise and cancer.
