Voting is the process by which democratic countries determine their government. Hence, Voting systems are more important than other critical systems.There are lots of methods to avoid duplicity in voting system, but we are not able to eradicate it completely. A novel and new method for secured electronic voting system by using image processign techniques like face recognition is discussed. This method overcomes the drawbacks in present scenario voting methods and validates the person to cast their vote. The application scenario is to avoid casting fake votes and to maintain high level of secutity during the voting process.

Dr.M.Jagadeeswari has completed her Ph.D from Anna University Chennai, ME (Ap. Elec) from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and B.E (ECE) from GCT, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. She has 21 years of academic and 10 years of research experience. She has published 50 papers in referred Journals and Conferences and two book Chapters published by Springer.
