Automatic human identification has become an important issue in todays global information society. Automatic biometric systems have emerged as a more reliable alternative to the traditional personal identification systems. This book emphasis the use of finger knuckle and finger vein trait combination to form multimodal biometric authentication. This book presents an innovative approach of integration of soft features such as age, gender and blood group to enhance the authentication performance of primary biometric. Approach uses the traits that has social acceptance and easy to use. Proposed prototype of acquisition device of Finger knuckle and finger vein is low cost, small size and user friendly. This book gives glimpse of cryptography based biometric concept. This innovative approach will encourage more research in this domain.

Dr.S.S.Kulkarni has received B.E. Electronics Engg. in 1999 & M.E. Electronics Engg. in 2007 from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. She has completed Ph.D. in Engineering from RSTM Nagpur University, Nagpur in 2017.She has worked over 13 years as a faculty of Electronics and Telecommunication Engg. She has published 20+ National & International papers.
