This book gives clear insights of introduction, overview origin and applications of active noise cancellation. There adaptive noise cancellation and noise reduction, detection of signals in noise is then introduced in chapter 2. The chapter 3 deals with adaptive filter theory, digital signal processing, signal prediction. Interference cancellation, channel equalization, noise cancellation, echo canceller configuration. Chapter 4 details adaptive filtering methods, state-space kalman filters wiener filter for additive noise reduction, wiener filter and the separability of signal and noise, implementation of wiener filters and the choice of wiener filter order. Further the chapter discusses and shows the various algorithm and its modification for ANC-LMS, RLS, VSSLMS, NLMS and experimental results. Performance analysis of the experiments and comparison study lead the path of ann technique for prediction of better performing algorithms. This book is a useful guide for understanding the noise cancellation methods and future scope of use of DSP technique in noise cancellation.
