CAD systems are being widely used by a number of engineers, professionals and firms basis for designing and drafting for multiple applications. Most of CAD systems have their own format of data, the problem is that, for each system, there is a need to interpret the data of other systems. The most effective long-term method of data exchange between dissimilar systems is the use of neutral format file exchanges and several standards have emerged over the years. This book is concerned with two case studies: simple proposed models and actualizing their outcomes by industrial case studies.
