Beschreibung
This book intends to develop mathematical modeling and illustrates the code program developed to analyze trusses under load considering physical and geometric non-linearities. It is performed the characterization of the structure, its peculiarities and the description of the calculation premises. Physical and geometric non-linearities are described and pointed out the elastoplastic behavior on the structure. The computation aspects and its implementation are discussed and it is presented some examples illustrating code programs.

André Luis Christoforo - Civil Engineer, Master and Doctor in Structural Engineering. He has postdoctoral studies in Structures, Materials, Statistics and Applied Mathematics. He is a professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar).
