Flow and heat transfer are omnipresent. Numerical simulation of flow and heat transfer results in faster and cheaper design of equipment involved. This monograph deals with numerical simulation of three very important flow and heat transfer problems explaining their importance, physics and methodology. Valuable knowledge on simulation process is shared and insights are offered. The target audience primarily comprises post graduate students and researchers who intend to explore this important field.

Dr Nirmal Kant Singh is currently Associate Professorin the department of Mechanical Engineering atNational Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, with ateaching experience of more than 22 years. Heobtained his B. E. degree from University of Roorkeeand M.Tech. and PhD from IIT Kanpur. His areas ofinterest include transition and turbulence.
