Modelling and Virtual Simulation of a Fire Fighting Rescue Robot is a handbook on robotics focussing on fire rescue missions. The book provides an introduction to the use of robotics in search and rescue missions. Rescue robots enable responders and other stakeholders to sense and act at a distance from the site of a disaster or extreme incident. These mobile robots are often referred to as unmanned systems to distinguish them from robots used for factory automation.
