My work has focused on the optimization of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and operations research problems using meta-heuristic algorithms. I expanded the standard vehicle routing problem (VRP) and truck and trailer routing problem (TTRP) into stochastic TTRP models and solved using different meta-heuristic algorithms. To my credit, I published some research papers in tier-1, tier-2 ISI and non-ISI journals. In addition, I have submitted several papers in reputed ISI journals. Also, I presented my models in two international conferences in 2014. My research interests are in areas of optimization, supply chain management, operations research, vehicle routing problem and quality & reliability engineering.

Seyedmehdi Mirmohammadsadeghi graduated in PhD from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya. He obtained his first degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Yazd in Iran and secured 1st class. He did Master's in Industrial Engineering in Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology.
