Debris accumulation at the spark gap region during Electrical discharge machining and its detrimental effects on the efficiency and overall outcome of the machining process, is a common challenge faced during EDM operations. This has led researchers to investigate and innovate new flushing techniques to solve this problem. This book outlines the effectiveness of the use of magnetic energy in removal of debris from the spark gap and the influence of application of varied levels of magnetic intensity on the various performance parameters of the EDM process.
