The world is facing with dual crises called environmental degradation and fossil fuel depletion. The aim of this study is to emphasize on properties, advantages, disadvantages, extraction and production methods of biodiesel. In addition, some new feedstock along with future scope of biodiesel is also described. So, that this book could become the torch bearer for the futuristic researchers working in the area of alternate energy resource.

Santosh Kumar is passionate about doing research in the area of surface modification using wire arc spray coatings, alternate energy resource, advance manufacturing. He works as Assistant Professor. Rakesh Kumar also works as Assistant Professor. His area of research includes additive manufacturing, alternate energy resource and hot corrosion.
