Paulo Kurka is a Mechanical Engineering Professor at UNICAMP, Brazil. He earned degrees from PUC-Rio and a PhD from UMIST, UK. His work focuses on system dynamics, signal processing, automation, and structural vibrations. He chairs the Brazilian Dynamics Committee and is an editor for Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing. Recent research includes image processing for robotics and vibration analysis in rail vehicles.
