Becoming a tradition meanwhile, the Hamburg University of Technology organized the 5th International Workshop on Aircraft System Technologies AST 2015. A total of 48 high-quality papers, contributed by leading scientists and experts, can be found in the proceedings of the event. As in the years before, the contributions presented at the Workshop address latest development in the fields of Airframe Systems and Equipment, Information and Communication Management, Materials and Production as well as Cabin and Comfort. The proceedings will be a valuable source of information for practicing engineers and scientists working in one of these areas.
