Jordan has a strategic Location as a transit hub between Asia, Europe and Africa and is considered to be among the safest of Arab countries in the Middle East and has historically managed to keep itself away from terrorism and instability. Jordanian airports are the gateways that play a major role linking the Middle East with the global world in addition to its big role in the countrys economy and business sector as well. According to this If the airports work efficiently and safely, they will have more control over the air transportation future at the region. The air-side facilities of an airport, such as runways and taxiways, are responsible to provide the support for aircrafts and aircrafts related activities. So proper planning and design will ensure the level of performance and operation service. In this book, an evaluation occurs to the current situations of air-side facilities of the three major Airports in Jordan (Queen Alia International Airport, Amman Marka Civil Airport and King Hussein International Airport).
