The main objective of this book is to identify the factors contributing to the landslide and to give an effective model to map the landslide susceptible region.This book will help the town planners and hill area development. This book extensively describes the contribution of triggering factors and preoperative factors towards landslide. A case study has been dealt to model the landslide susceptibility mapping.

At present she is working as head of the department civil engineering Anna university Trichy. Her Research area includes GIS, remote sensing and structural engineering.
