This education module will equip the teachers to provide quality counseling and support services to the children to prevent and cure internet addiction. I wish to thank various individuals who have not just helped inspired this module preparation but have also assisted its direction and supported me in many ways. The programme consists of total five sessions, out of which one main session and four reinforcement motivational sessions. The main session is of 90 minutes and all the reinforcement motivational sessions are of 60 minutes. All the sessions can be conducted during P.T. periods. The author conducted a study to evaluate the impact of the module on physical, psychosocial and academic performance of internet addicted teens and found effective.

Dr. Farzana Begum, PhD, MSN, RN, is an Assistant Professor at College of Nursing, RIMS, Ranchi, India. she has done an extensive study to find out the impact of Internet Addiction and Lifestyle Modifications Sensitization Program for Parents & Children and found it is effective.
