Beschreibung
This book deals with incompressible Navier-Stoke's equations in artificial compressibility (AC) formulation. A high resolution unstructured finite volume scheme, based on HLLC-AC Riemann solver is explained. The solution dependent weighted least square (SDWLS) gradient calculation procedure for unstructured grids, which produces accurate results with computational efficiency is explained in detail. The artificial compressibility based formulation is extended for unsteady incompressible flow involving static and moving grids. In case of moving boundary problem the Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) formulation is employed and explained. The radial basis function interpolation based mesh movements technique is used to move/deform the dynamic grids. By using the present formulation many benchmark examples as well as two test cases of practical importance are presented with detailed results. The Practical examples are i) Moderator flow inside a calandria of typical CANDU 6 reactor and ii) Flow inside differentially heated rotating cavity.
