This book presents the fundamentals of LNG spherical pressure tank modeling in a stage -wise manner using the finite element method.Modeling procedures for the inner shell thickness, insulation thickness, leg supports, local load effects and seismic effects are treated. Case studies are presented in each modeling chapter and flowchart for computer programming are included to aid the reader in developing his own programs for finite element modeling.
