Beschreibung
Triboelectric effect is a type of charge transfer when two distinguished materials get frictionally contact with each other and become electrically charged in opposite sign. These generated electrical charges, which are opposite in sign are collected via external electrical circuit. The performance of triboelectric charge generation significantly depends upon electron affinity of rubbing materials and surface quality. They can be used in wide variety of applications including energy generation, health monitoring, low power electronics etc.
