The digital signal process (DSP) is the dominating technology for various applications in the communication industry. At millimeter wave frequency and Terahertz band, signals with several tens of GHz bandwidth can be transferred. These ultra wideband signals are hard to be digitalized thus impossible to be processed with traditional DSP approach. Customized hardware structures can be used to process these signals at speed far beyond that can offer by DSPs. Several hardware signal process solutions for modulation and demodulation are presented in this book. Ultra high speed millimeter point-to-point links are demonstrated in this book as well.

Zhongxia Simon He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Microwave Electronics Laboratory, Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience (MC2), Chalmers University. His current research interests include high data rate wireless communication, modulation and demodulation, mixed-signal integrated circuit design, radar, and packaging.
