The guidance of how safety needs to perform for airborne systems is provided by the Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) 4761 Guidelines and Methods for conducting the safety assessment process on Civil Airborne Systems and Equipment which each supplier has their own unique flavor of interpretation. This book discusses the basics of Systems Safety, compliance with System Safety Standards of Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) 4761 and ARP4754A.
