Beschreibung
The Applied Research Conference ARC 2014 is the fourth conference, which is a part of the master´s program "Master of Applied Research". During the Applied Research Conference ARC 2014 students of the aforementioned master´s program present their research results in the form of presentations and papers. The conference proceeding contains selected papers from the different research areas. Research areas include: Power Technology, Materials, Measurement Technology, Car Technology, Data Networks, Optical Technologies, Software and Logistics. The master´s program Master of Applied Research integrates enrolled students into a research subject during their three semester program. They participate as members in a research team and are guided by a professor responsible for the research project. Student's research work is divided into project sections and the master´s thesis. Accompanying lectures are selected in the context of the research subject from established master´s programs. The conference proceeding ARC 2014 contains more than 100 publications in the field of technology. Also included are publications from key note speakers in industry and academia to give background information on the development of the master´s program and its importance to the cooperation between universities and industry involved. The Applied Research Conference ARC 2014 was carried out at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt on July 5th 2014.
