This concise electrical engineering textbook uses a successfully class-tested approach, which focuses on essential topics in electrical engineering that are most often used in practice. This volume introduces the necessary mathematics, basic definitions of current, voltage, resistance, etc., as well as the basic calculation methods for analyzing resistor circuits. The text is written in a clear and simple language that is easy to understand, while all small steps are shown in mathematical derivations, so that students do not "get stuck" in these derivations when reading on their own. Examples and exercises are limited and focused in order to maximize comprehension of the concepts and techniques being discussed.
