Beschreibung
This book summarizes the application of thermal analysis tools in different research areas. Areas covered include characterization of catalytic materials, plastics and polymers, analysis of salts, minerals and oxides. The reader is provided with an overview of experimental strategy, methodology, usage of complementary thermoanalytical methods and the type of information which could be drawn depending on the research field.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Aline Auroux has authored over 360 publications on calorimetry and thermal methods in catalysis and trained over 100 students during her 40-year career at IRCELYON (CNRS / UCB Lyon 1). She is a former vice-president of the French Chemical Society. Dr. Ljiljana Damjanovic-Vasilic is a full professor at the Uni versity of Belgrade-Faculty of Physical Chemistry. She authored over 50 publications in the field of materials science and participated in numerous scientific and outreach programs.
