In this book we have tried to encompass almost all things related to polymers. The different methods for the determination of molecular weight of polymers and their characterization techniques have been discussed in detail. Different properties of polymers which form the basis for their applications in diverse field of technology are also discussed. A special emphasis have been given to biopolymers and conducting polymers in the form of two dedicated chapters keeping in view their diverse technological applications.

Dr. Waseem Gulzar Naqash is Ph.D. in chemistry from NIT Srinagar, Hazratbal, Srinagar, India. Dr. Syed Kazim Moosvi is also Ph.D. in Chemistry from NIT Srinagar, India. Both the authors are actively involved in scientific research in the field of material science and have a number of research papers and book chapters to their credit.
