Phenolic resins are polymers with a wide variety of applications. They are used as paint and varnish, coatings, composite wood materials, industrial luminates, paper impregnation, foundry resins, abrasive materials and in rubbers and adhesives. Since the first edition was published in 1985, further development took place which is totally included in this completely revised 2nd edition.
