Introduction to Chemical Process Control, is an ideal lecture notes and learning tool for a semester-long undergraduate chemical engineering course in process control.These notes allow the easy construction of block diagram and quick analysis of control concepts and to enable the student to formulate dynamic models for simple processes and understand a number of modern control techniques. This book cover the fundamentals of process modeling, dynamics,feedback control, linear control theory, application of Laplace transforms and frequency domain theory to the analysis of open-loop and closed-loop process dynamics. Also it cover stability analysis,controller modes, settings of controllers, design of control systems of level, flow, heat exchangers, reactors and elementary multivariable systems.
Autorenporträt
Duraid F. Ahmed is Assistant Professor of Process Control at Tikrit University. He received a B.Sc. degree, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from University of Baghdad. He joined the faculty at the university of Tikrit in 2004. He served as the chair for the department of Chemical Engineering from 2010 to 2013.
