Super-iron batteries consist of highly energetic iron compounds in an unusually high valence state, Fe(VI), which may be used to replace existing cathode technologies. Autorenporträt

Ran Tel-Vered received his Ph.D. from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 2003. After a postdoctoral work with Prof. Allen J. Bard at UT Austin, he joined The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he works as a senior associate to Prof. Itamar Willner. His interests include bioelectronics, photoelectrochemistry and DNA nanostructures.
