Nowadays, exploitation for energy has become an urgent matter with the advent of global energy crisis. Cellulose is a renewable organic biomass, and has turned out to be an important position due to its abundant resources and catalytic conversion into valuable industrial chemicals under different degradation processes by using catalysts. This book presented the pretreatments, reaction media, catalysts and applications for catalytic degradation of cellulose.
Autorenporträt
Yongjie Yan received his master degree in Shinshu University in Japan. Presently, he is going to finish his doctorate there. His major is materials science and engineering. His current research is focused on the structural fabrication of carbon based functional nano-engineering composites for application in energy and environment.
