This book aims to provide students and engineers with information on the economics of nutraceutical production. Emphasis is on the comparison between single product recovery and multiproduct recovery from algal biomass. The readers get to know the answer for various questions that include but are not limited to the following: bioreactor equipment, required amounts of raw material, utilities used in bioprocessing algae, power consumption, manpower, product yield per batch, average batch size and the information about the capital investment. The final aim of this work is to enable the reader to professionally synthesize and assess the viability of nutraceutical production from microalgae.
