It has depicted the predicament of pollution and decadence in the societal environment leading to the spate of advancement in urbanization, influx of rural migrants and dis-arrayed growth of development. In order to enhance the quality of life in the face of climate change improvised remedial measures have to be asserted for preserving the serenity of city life with a holistic approach.

Divyajit Das is doing his B.Tech. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech. (Structural Engineering)(Cont.) and is a consultant and a scholar in the field of sustainable development. Mr.Das has published several research articles in the National and International Journals and presented papers in conferences.
