Beschreibung
This book discusses the problems due to fluoride contamination in groundwater and feasible remediation. The book also investigates applications from various carbons derived from bio-mass, bio-polymer and also the surface modified carbons using inorganic ions that can help remove excess fluoride ions in drinking water and wastewater effluents. The book covers the compliance of kinetic and isotherm models with fluoride sorption. The authors also describe the suggestive mechanisms of defluoridation by surface modified carbon materials.
