Beschreibung
An experimental study carried out in order to determine the properties of local materials used as construction materials. Chemical properties of the bamboo leaf ash showed that the combined SiO2, Al2O3 and Fe2O3 Content was above the 70% limit. Laterite soil stabilized with bamboo leaf ash (BLA) were tested and the results on Compressive strength, Abrasive strength, Water absorption by capillarity and Dry density of the brick samples presented.
