This book includes definition, Classification, Uses, Procedure Design of Micropiles and Simulate the Micropiles in Finite elements program by using ABAQUS program. The parameters that affect the ultimate capacity of the Micropile foundation represented by the Micropile length, diameter, and type were investigated. The effect of socketed length in dense soil and the post-grouted length had also been studied in associated with different type of Micropiles and in this study, a new equation is sugested to calculate the ultimate shaft resistance for Micropile type D.

Ansam Ahmed Al-Karawi was born in Diali, Iraq on November 5, 1988. She finished undergraduate study from Diali university, college of engineering, civil department in 2010. Between 2011 and 2014, she finished the requirements for the Degree of Master of science in civil engineering (Soil Mechanics) from Tikrit university.
