Motivation and its impact on workers productivity is a product of research and desire to improve productivity level of workers, most especially in construction sub-sector of the economy. The book painstakingly reviewed productivity level of workers in some selected nations of the world, discussed extensively motivating factors influence on workers productivity, and examines the contribution of resistance among workers to the level of productivity attained in the sector. The book went further to establish a construct to explain the relationship between productivity, motivation and resistance factors and provides a model of the relationship. The application of the model in the industry was equally discussed to assist managers.
Autorenporträt
Funso Afuye hails from Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti-State in south western Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D in Construction Project Management in 2016 from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya; MSc. degree in Construction Management in 2008 from University of Jos, Plateau-State, Nigeria and BSc. in Building Technology in 1992 from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
