The objective of this project is to systematically integrate aftershock seismic hazard into Performance-Based Earthquake Engineering through a combination of analytical studies with structural degradation models derived from existing publicly available NEEShub data.

Dr. Nazari is a Structural Engineer and Catastrophe Analyst at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company. She has a PhD in Structural Engineering from Colorado State University. Her BS is in Civil and Environmental Engineering and MS is in Earthquake Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
