The aim of this book is to give an insight of Earth Air Tunnel Heat Exchangers. Various aspects of integrating the EATHE system with an active cooling system have been explained based on In-Situ measurements. Transient thermal performance under extreme weather conditions has been evaluated using a validated simulation model and performance deterioration has been explained in terms of Derating Factor. Economic analysis helps in understanding the end use of such passive cooling/heating systems and their viability. Design guidelines would help a beginner to learn the basic philosophy of optimizing the parameters affecting the thermal performance of EATHE systems.
