The book provides a complete guide about design D-Region in Reinforced Concrete Structure using STM and how to analyze the region using the practical approach for nonlinear finite element of reinforced concrete structure. Since parts of the book are based on technical papers published in ACI Structural Journal, ASCE, etc., the useful and most recent information and technology are thus directly available to the practice engineers after they read the book. One of the most useful chapters is the guideline of the new framework in design of D-Regions to ensure the good structural performance during service and overload. This is probably the starting point for performance based design of D-Regions where most of the code practices are moving to. The framework can be readily implemented into the computer software for automated analysis and design of complex D-Regions as well.

He received his B.S. in 2001 from Kasetsart University, Thailand, M.S. in 2004 from University of New South Wales, Australia, and Ph.D. from University of Illinois,Champaign, USA., all in Civil Engineering.
