This book equips the readers with a fundamental knowledge in micro-controllers and their applications. Basics of microprocessors and related concepts have been appended to ensure that the reader can do with just some basic knowledge of electronics. The 8051 micro-controller has been analysed in depth and the results, including important topics like the architecture and instruction set, have been clearly presented. Several examples of day to day applications have been presented with associated theory and programs. Advanced architectures have also been added for interested readers. We hope this book introduces micro-controllers and builds a detailed background for the same and its applications.

Dr. Vandana Khare is a Professor in ECE at CMR College of Engineering & Technology, Secunderabad. She has 21 years of teaching experience and has published 44 research papers in International journals & presented 5 papers in National & International conferences. She is a life member of ISTE, IETE & IEEE Technical societies.
