This book evaluates and suggests potentially critical improvements to causal set theory, one of the best-motivated approaches to the outstanding problems of fundamental physics. Benjamin F. Dribus is an assistant professor of mathematics at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and a member of the Foundational Questions Institute. His principal research interests are fundamental spacetime structure and quantum gravity. He also has a pure math research program in algebraic geometry and algebraic K-theory.
