This physics formulary is designed for use in immersive or bilingual teaching in secondary and high schools in German-speaking areas. All technical terms have been diligently researched, with special care being taken to ensure that the correct British English expressions have been given. In the index at the end of the book, a German translation is provided for all technical terms listed. As physics curricula vary not only from region to region but also from school to school, this book contains formulas and tables covering all possible aspects of the subject. It may also prove useful to students and teachers at university level in both, German- and English-speaking areas.
Autorenporträt
Matthias Heidrich, PhD, is the author of several reference books on physics and mathematics. He studied physics and mathematics at the University of Heidelberg. After five research years at CERN in Geneva, he joined Swisslife in Zurich in 1997 to dedicate himself to insurance mathematics. In 2002, Matthias Heidrich became a teacher for physics and mathematics at AKAD in Zurich. Since 2004, he has taught physics and related subjects at Kantonsschule Wil (Switzerland) in German and English language.
