Study of optical properties of Transition Metal Dichalcogenides This book deals with a small review on the optical properties of TMDCs. In chapter 2, the author discussed the different experimental techniques she used to study their optical properties. In Chapter 3 she discussed the identifying the H-point transition in bulk WS2 and in Chapter 4 she discussed how defect related excitonic emission results in self trapping of excitons in MoS2.

I have completed my PhD from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, India. I was a postdoctoral student in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Mumbai, India. Presently I am working as an Assistant Professor in DIgboi College, India.
