The book is about the new horizons of nano plasmonics, which explains the factors affecting the surface plasmon polaritons resonance and plasmonic bandgap in 1D nano structured devices. Due to vast applied sides of the nano plasmonics, it is important to understand the physics behind that. Firstly the topic is introduced in a simple way, then a brief historical review is discussed. The new age techniques used to solve the problems about nano plasmonics, like FEM are also covered in the book. Finally the results are explained within the requirements of the future subject.

Author was born in Mandi Bahauddin (Chaharkay) Punjab, Pakistan. He is lecturer at present and is teaching graduate level courses at department of physics, University of Gujrat (Gujrat) Punjab, Pakistan, for the last five years. Areas of reseach interest are laser spectroscopy, Nano Plasmonics, and optical properties of Nano structures.
