Revolution of growth in construction increase construction waste problems around the world. Construction waste gives a negative impacts to the environment, cost and time. To reduce these negative impacts, need to find out the root causes of the construction waste generation in construction management. The causes that contribute to the generation of construction waste are various. This study is focused on identification of the factors in construction management causing construction waste production in Muscat, and Nizwa in OMAN together with a case study of one project in SAUDI ARABIA. The structural questionnaire based survey was carried out by interviewing from consultant, contractors and clients of construction Construction projects. The collected data were analyzed by using average index method. These causes were grouped into seven categories: Design, Handling, Worker, Management, Site condition, Procurement and Miscellaneous. The results of this research are helpful to the construction community in avoiding any potential construction waste generation for their future construction projects in order to achieve successful construction projects, and for making policies.
