Beschreibung
This book represents a Parametric study of piled raft behavior by various combinations such as diameter of piles, spacing of piles, length of piles. Load carrying capacity of piled raft foundation system increases with the increase in the length of the pile. Settlement of the foundation reduces as compared to other foundation systems. Load carrying capacity of piled raft foundation systems increases with the increase in the pile diameter.

Rohin Kaushik is M. Tech. in Civil Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at DAV University, Jalandhar. He has published number of research papers. He has more than 11 years of teaching experience.
