This book describes the synthesis and characterization perovskite and its application for the magnetic refrigeration i.e. magneto caloric effect. Many of the fundamental characterizations such as X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-ray Photoelectron Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy along with advanced synchrotron based X-ray absorption measurements. The magneto-caloric effect is verified by calculating change in entropy from the magnetic isotherms. Also, their are different theorotical models are used to verify the experimental results.

Currently I am working as a postdoctoral researcher at Tamkang University, Tamsui, Taiwan. I have completed my Ph D from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in experimental condensed matter physics. My research work is based on the X-ray absorption and emission spectroscopy, resonant inelastic X-ray scattering etc.
