Beschreibung

The book is a comprehensive presentation of two broad aspects, belongings to long-term changes in lower and upper ionospheric parameters like ionospheric D-region radio waves absorption over Udaipur, mid latitude night airglow intensity at 557.7, 589.3 and 630 nm at Kiso and high latitude ionospheric E- and F-region parameters of Churchill, and study concerning to long-term trend in Total Ozone Content, various atmospheric parameters and their linking with surface meteorological variables etc., over Asian tropical zone. The basis of present work the collection of ground and satellite based experiment of one solar cycle period or more than one decade. In the present work, the results of month to month, seasonal variation as well as their long-term annual variability of lower and upper atmosphere are discussed. The detailed study about the long-term changes in atmospheric aerosols loading variables and the TOC are discussed over Asian Tropical sites. In addition to this, multiyear studies about the behavior of atmospheric aerosol parameters during Pre-Diwali to Post-Diwali festival period have been also described and possible explanations are also included in the work.
