In 1957, finished the Vainode high school and started studying at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. In 1962 completed studies. For many years worked in the Academy of Sciences of Latvia and there got a PhD in Physics. Finished working life at Riga Technical University as a lecturer in Higher Mathematics and Statistics.
