This book deals about the application of various algorithms for solving reactive power optimization problem. Main objective of the problem is to reduce the real power loss and to augment the voltage stability. Successfully all the algorithms has been applied to the problem. Validity of the proposed algorithms has been tested in standard test systems & real power loss considerably reduced. Static voltage stability index has been enhanced.
