The technical possibilities of effective employment of electrodynamics compensation, with regard to the development of modern switchgear apparatus, represents one of the most interesting, from a scientific and deployment perspective, research and constructional issues within power engineering science. The main objective of this monograph is to present the most recent scientific and deployment-related undertakings concerning the above issue. The work presents the results of laboratory and simulation testing of modern devices using the phenomenon of electrodynamics interaction, discusses technical solutions and analyses the impact of constructional parameters on the operation and achieved results of the devices. The book, written by recognized specialists whose fields of research correspond with the discussed issue, represents a new approach towards the discussed subject and significantly contributes to increased safety of technological processes conducted in extreme environmental and operational conditions.
